It is not easy to get honest feedback - you need to be serious about what you're going to do with it. And you need to be persistent and ask until you get a bit more than "You did great". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Be specific with your questions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ask a trusted person to pay attention to how you do stuff upfront, not after the event. This way the chances are they will pay attention. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And please - do not take what you hear personally and get defensive. If you do, you might never again get valuable feedback. Thank for this gift, reflect and do what you consider will serve best your growth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
